One of our recent ex-residents called this morning to let us know that she passed her certification exam for her chosen profession! We are so proud of her.

     A young woman who was in our shelter approximately 15 years ago, came to visit not long ago bringing with her donations and good news. She is a professional with 2 beautiful children who wants to help us raise funds for our kids.

     In today's mail we received a check with a volunteer application and a request to do something special for our kids on a monthly basis. There are some truly amazing people in this world, aren't there?

Every child who stays with us in the shelter knows that he is one of our kids and always will be. Many keep in contact with us and many have received our help in gaining their independence.
